Committee meets on the first Thursday of the month.

The mission of the Children and Youth Christian Education Committee is to provide a foundation for spiritual growth by creating opportunities to establish a life-long relationship with a loving, accepting God.

The CE Committee is directly responsible for Sunday School, Vacation Bible School pictures, Youth Sunday. They work with other ministries on the Christmas Pageant, the Fall Retreat pictures, Summer Programs, and Child Care Issues.

We need  more committee members with new ideas for our programs. And we need people who love to work with children. Time commitment range from a couple of hours to help with the program, to 5 or 10 hours per month for special projects. Sunday School Leaders, Shepherds and Assistants spend from 12 to 15 hours in class and preparation.

Also, new or used computers are needed to help the young people explore the Bible in hi-tech ways.

Come check out the Team concept that allows best use of Faith's limited Sunday School space. At the same time, by allowing rotation of approaches, it maintains student interest.
