Church Library Helper
How We Reach Out:
This mission of the church library is to provide a resource for the congregation that will further their understanding of the Christian message through the medium of literature and other forms of education material.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a church library
- Prepare books for loan
- Purchase books and other materials possible
- Develop promotional activities
Time Requirements:
Time requirements are flexible. Members give time as they are able to develop and increase this educational opportunity.
Training:
Previous library training is not required.
Qualifications and Special Skills:
The only qualification is a keen interest in books and a desire to maintain a church library. Computer skills are helpful but not necessary.
