How We Reach Out:
Christian adults and youth creating opportunities for children to establish a life-long relationship with a loving, accepting God.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nurture and care for a group of children
- Encourage participation and new friendships
- Guide the children to the appropriate center
- Take roll and offering. Facilitate the prayer of joy and concerns
- Assist children with the planned activities
- Attend leader meetings
Time Requirements:
1-2 hours per week. Individuals called to this ministry may volunteer for either the early of the late service.
Training:
Each month a new curriculum packet is handed out. The packet provides background information on the Bible story as well as an overview of each center's planned activities. Sue Kirk, the Christian Education Coordinator, provides additional training.
Qualifications and Special Skills:
Love of children, patience, enthusiasm, openness to learning and the ability to work with others.
