How We Reach Out:
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a unique opportunity to help children of all ages grow in their faith. Not only is it a fun-filled week, it is also a time of outreach as many children from our community come to learn more about God.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nurture and care for a group of children
- Encourage participation and new friendships
- Assist children with the planned activities
- Help move the children from one center to the next
- Attend VBS preparation meetings
Time Requirements:
20-25 hours annually during the week of VBS.
Training:
The curriculum is very user friendly and provides many helpful tips. Sue Kirk, the Christian Education Coordinator, provides additional training.
Qualifications and Special Skills:
Love of children, patience, enthusiasm, openness to learning, and the ability to work with others.
