How We Reach Out:
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a unique opportunity to help children of all ages grow in their faith. Not only is it a fun-filled week, it is also a time of outreach as many children from our community come to learn more about God.
Responsibilities:
- Select curriculum and theme for VBS
- Review feedback from prior years to continuously improve the program
- Recruit volunteers to teach, set up, and help with VBS
- Assist in making phone calls and/or picking up supplies
Time Requirements:
15-20 hours during the late winter and spring.
Training:
Sue Kirk, the Christian Education Coordinator, provides training.
Qualifications and Special Skills:
Love of children, enthusiasm, openness to learning, organizational skills, and the ability to work with others.
