How We Reach Out:
The Hospitality Coordinator provides the structure for a time of fellowship and refreshment on Sunday mornings. This position also helps to create a warm, welcoming, and high-energy atmosphere for our congregation, visitors, and prospective new members.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the teams of two people who will prepare and serve the coffee and refreshments each week
- Troubleshoot any problem areas by connecting with appropriate staff members, elder, deacon or lay Minister needed to solve the concern
- Create new and dynamic ways to make this a time to really welcome all (current congregation, visitors and prospective new members) so that they feel energized, accepted, and at home in our church congregation
Time Requirements:
Approximately five hours per month.
Training:
Elder of Fellowship will work with you; give you some history, answer any questions along the way, help you acquire any information you need or want and set you free!
Qualifications and Special Skills:
Gift of hospitality, friendliness, and warmth towards the congregation. Gift of service. Gift of Phone.
