How We Reach Out:
The Greeter Coordinator encourages people in the congregation to share the gift of hospitality by becoming a Greeter.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting people in the congregation to become greeters
- Prepare a quarterly Greeter Schedule and Greeter Roster to be distributed to all greeters
- Training 'Greeter Teams' to be scheduled with all new greeters
- Plans and facilitates the annual 'Greeter Appreciation Dessert and Coffee' which serves to thank and appreciate all greeters for their contribution, and to share training tips and important feedback
Time Requirements:
Approximately 4 hours (each quarter) to prepare the schedule and update the roster. Occasional telephoning to cover shifts when greeters are unavailable for their scheduled shifts. Annual Training requires 3-4 hours of planning, and 2 hours to facilitate.

Qualifications and Special Skills:
The Greeter Coordinator should be an enthusiastic, outgoing and friendly person, with an eye for detail and a calm disposition. If you enjoy encouraging others while welcoming all, this is the job for you!
