How We Reach Out:
The Media Coordinator informs the community about the various ministries of our church through all forms of advertising media.
Responsibilities:
- Annually prepares or updates advertisements about our location and worship times to be printed in local neighborhood newspaper, business directory and the yellow pages
- Prepares print information about all community wide church functions to be included in church bulletin announcements, 'Presby News' and on the website
- Proofs all ad copy and approves ads prior to print deadlines
- Annual print ads include: Christmas Worship invitation (quotes from the pastor), Easter Worship invitation (Sunrise Service), VBS, 4th of July Fireworks booth, Special Music Events, Visiting Chorals, plays and etc.
- Prepares and mails quarterly 'Welcome to the neighborhood' invitation to Church letter
Time Requirements:
Varies with the season. Mailer requires 2-3 hours each quarter.
Training:
Training provided.
Qualifications and Special Skills:
The Media Coordinator should be a detail oriented person who is blessed with the ability to adhere to a deadline.
