Poinsettia Sales Coordinator
How We Reach Out:
The Poinsettia Sales Coordinator works with congregation members that wish to purchase Poinsettias to decorate the sanctuary for the Hanging of the Greens service by taking their requests, making the order and picking up the poinsettias.
Responsibilities:
- Take sign-ups and collect payments from congregation members for poinsettias
- Find place to purchase poinsettias
- Pick-up poinsettias and decorate sanctuary before Hanging of Greens service
- Water poinsettias through the Christmas service
- Remove any left over poinsettias after congregation has taken those purchased
Time Requirements:
30 minutes after worship services to take orders. Some time to pick up poinsettias before the Hanging of the Greens service. Saturday morning before Hanging of the Greens decorate the sanctuary. Continue watering the poinsettias up to the Christmas service.
Training:
By Worship Ministry and/or last years Poinsettia Sales Coordinator.
Qualifications and Special Skills:
This ministry lets the coordinator serve God as well as the congregation by arranging for the delivery of beautiful and festive poinsettia for the Hanging of Greens service. The poinsettias continue to provide beautiful decoration through the advent season up to Christmas.
