How We Reach Out:
The Special Services coordinator decorates the sanctuary and arranges for ushers and a sound technician for special services such as the Christmas Eve Midnight Service, Maundy Thursday, Youth Sunday, Pentecost, Jazz Sunday, Teacher Appreciation, Music Appreciation, Soccer Sunday, Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service, and New Years Service.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase candles or other supplies for the service
- Decorate the sanctuary if desired
- Arrange for ushers and a sound technician
- Attend the service and assist the pastor as needed
Time Requirements:
Some time required to purchase candles or other supplies and arrange for ushers and sound technician. One or two hours to decorate the sanctuary.
Training:
Provided by previous year coordinator or Worship Ministry.
Qualifications and Special Skills:
The ideal person will enjoy designing, be creative, and be available for the special services.
